What is the weather going to be like in Sydney? Won't it be winter?

We will be in Sydney at the end of July, which is equivalent to the end of January in the northern hemisphere. Sydney in July is about 6 to 8 degrees warmer than Mountain View in January, on average. Or, to put it another way, Sydney in July is about the same as Mountain View in April! Sydney, however, is significantly wetter, so pack your rain gear!
